honorific language

敬語 (keigo): honorific language. It is divided into  respectful, humble and polite.
尊敬語 (sonkeigo):  respectful language. Used to elevate the other person.
謙譲語 (kenjōgo): humble language. Used to refer to oneself, or someone in one's group.
丁寧語 (teineigo): polite language.

There are 3 ways to conjugate verbs in respectful language:
1. use られる. It is identical to passive but used in the active voice.
王様が食べられる。The king eats.

2. use お+verb+になる
王様がお食べになる. The king eats.

3. use respectful word
王様が召し上がる。The king eats.

There are 2 ways to conjugate verbs in humble language:
1. use お+verb+する.
私がお食べする。I eat.

2.  use humble word.
私が頂く。I eat.
